Guidelines for Manuscript Format
Manuscript published at Journal of the Korean Society for Aviation and Aeronautics must adhere to the format as per the below mentioned guidelines. Author(s) should submit an original manuscript in HWP file format and a title page using the online submission system and also in order to prevent any omission, submission should be made via e-mail (
ksaa_journal@ksaaonline.or.kr)
alongside the online submission (double submission/confirmation system).
Format -The Manuscript should be prepared and submitted in Hancom Office Word, in the below mentioned format and layout.

Structure of the manuscript
The manuscript should comprise of an introduction, main body and conclusion.
The introduction will include goals and scope of the research, methodology and its contribution in the field. A main body will include analysis on main issues, development of theories and exploration of possible solutions. The conclusion is a summary of the research conclusion and suggestions for the future research.
Title
The title of the manuscript should be concise and descriptive, not exceeding 10 words. Author(s) will have to mention the title and author(s) name(s) both in Korean and English.
Abstract
All manuscript should contain an abstract of ten (10) to eleven(11) lines. In case of the manuscript submitted in English, it should additionally contain an abstract in Korean and vice versa. No Charts, references, or quotations may be a part of the abstract.
The abstract must be concise and factual. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be stand-alone. For this reason, references should be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if it is required, then it must be defined in the first mention in the abstract itself.
Keywords
Minimum of four (4), maximum of ten (10) keywords should be provided in both Korean and English.
Artwork and Tables
Artwork files can be provided in black and white, in a printing ready format. Each artwork shall have its number and title at the bottom. Tables shall have their number and title on top.
(Ex) Table. 1, Fig. 1
Math formulae
Please submit math equations as editable text and not as images. Present simple formulae in line with normal text where possible and use the solidus (/) instead of a horizontal line for small fractional terms, e.g., X/Y. In principle, variables are to be presented in italics. Powers of e are often more conveniently denoted by exponential function. Number consecutively any equations that have to be displayed separately from the text (if referred to explicitly in the text).
Terminology
Use the terms in Korean if possible. If the translated technical terms may be understood other than the original meaning, the author(s) may add the terms in an original language using additional brackets. Interpretation of technical terms shall follow [Air and Space Glossaries].
Footnotes
If required, each sentence may have footnotes for additional explanations. The right side of the footnotes shall be closed with a bracket, and contents of the each footnote should be arranged at the bottom of the each page.
Quotation
Each quoted sentence must end with information such as an author¡¯s name and the year of publication of the quoted article in brackets.
Example: ¡°¡¦has been proved by earlier studies (Michael, 1999).¡±
If the manuscript tries to state a conclusion of one research paper, author(s) must start the sentence with the subjective paper¡¯s author name followed by the year of the publication in brackets.
Example: ¡°(¿¹) Michael(1990) has classified the types of air transport¡¦¡±
References
References should be listed at the end of the manuscript following its order mentioned in the manuscript and must display full citations for the sources used in the manuscript. A Few guidelines and examples of citing different sources are mentioned below.
